Guess what? The folks at Kathmandu Metropolitan City are about to become milk detectives! Dr. Awadesh Jha, the head cheese at the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, spilled the milk (not beans) about their plan. They’re going to grab samples of all kinds of milk – from fancy packaged ones to the fresh-from-the-farm ones – and give them a good check-up in the lab.
But that’s not all! They’re also cooking up their very own lab to sniff out the truth about the food you’re munching on. Dr. Jha says it’s all about making sure the milk and your snacks are top-notch.
“Most of us gulp down milk thinking it’s a health hero, but who really knows its quality?” Dr. Jha said. “We’re on a mission to make sure what you’re drinking and eating is A-OK.”
They’re not just sipping the milk; they’re checking it for quality, cleanliness, sneaky additives, and even its personality (well, maybe not that last one). It’s all part of the city’s plan to keep you safe and sound.
Remember that monsoon water check they did? Turns out, it wasn’t all crystal clear. Now, they’re putting milk under the microscope. Keep an eye out for updates on how the city is making sure your snacks pass the taste and safety test!
