KATHMANDU: In a special ceremony organized by the President’s office this afternoon, President Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sumitra Bhandari, appointed as Chief of Madhesh State, Dilliraj Bhatta, appointed as Chief of Gandaki State, and Nazir Mia, appointed as Chief of Sudurpaschim State.
The event saw the presence of Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, and National Assembly Speaker Narayan Prasad Dahal.
