KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal remarked that his responsibilities have significantly increased following his third vote of confidence from Parliament.

Addressing the media after securing the vote of confidence on Wednesday, Prime Minister Dahal emphasized the heightened sense of duty. “My responsibilities have escalated. It entails the swift execution of beneficial initiatives for the nation and its people, adding an additional burden to my shoulders. I extend my gratitude to the House,” he expressed.

He reiterated his commitment to accelerating progress for the welfare of the nation and its citizens, acknowledging the weight of added responsibility.

Reflecting on the democratic process, he underscored the importance of receiving the vote of confidence in a respectful and moderate environment.

“Today’s parliamentary proceedings showcased vibrant democratic practices within a conducive atmosphere. This bolstered our democracy significantly,” he remarked. “Receiving the vote of confidence as Prime Minister for the third time evoked distinct sentiments and experiences.”

Prime Minister Dahal further conveyed appreciation to the Members of Parliament and the Parliament as a whole for their endorsement.
