Kathmandu: Mithila painter Ranju Yadav’s solo exhibition of Mithila paintings, which is on tour in Europe, was concluded in Finland on Sunday.
A one-day painting exhibition was held in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NANA) Finland. This was the last Mithila art exhibition by Chitrakar Yadav during his European tour. 40 Mithila paintings by painter Yadav were displayed in the exhibition. A rope that, through his paintings, exposes the good aspects of Nepali society and culture and attacks the bad aspects.
Painter Yadav went on a 33-day art tour to Europe on 6th Baisakh to exhibit her Mithila paintings in Germany, Denmark, and Finland.
His solo painting exhibition was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 8, organized by the Nepali Society Germany. After that, his paintings were exhibited at the Nepali Embassy in Berlin for one day.
Similarly, on May 11 and 12, a two-day solo painting exhibition was held in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. It was jointly organized by the Nepali Embassy in Denmark, NANA Denmark, and Restaurant Nepali Kitchen.
Before that, in a one-day Mithila Art Workshop organized by Nana Denmark, painter Yadav taught about fifty Nepalese and Indian children and their parents how to make Mithila paintings.
Yadav, a National Fine Arts Award-winning painter, is returning home on Tuesday, June 8, after holding a solo painting exhibition in three European countries and visiting five countries.
