Sindhupalchowk- It has been found that the road passing through Bahrvise Bazar in Sindhupalchok district to reach Kalinchok Bhagwati temple, a famous religious and tourist place on the border of Sindhupalchok and Dolakha, is close to half.
Madhav Sapkota ‘Subodh’, a directly elected member of the House of Representatives from Region No. 1 of the district, conducted an on-site inspection on Tuesday along with local leaders and workers about the condition of the existing alternative road.
After monitoring, he said that he was able to reach Kalinchok in half time. “An alternative route can be used,” he said. MP Sapkota has also appealed to pilgrims and tourists from all over the country to travel by using alternative and shorter routes. He said that he will take necessary steps to upgrade the road. A concrete bridge has been constructed and is in operation at Hadikhola on the way.
There is a busy road leading from Charikot Bazar in Dolakha to reach the Kalinchok Bhagwati temple area, which is visited by a large number of internal and external pilgrims every day. A few years ago, as a short and alternative route, a road was constructed to reach Kalinchok Bhagatavati temple via Budhepa, Bagar, Ghorthali, Binthali through Bahrvise Bazar in Sindhupalchok.
Road operation engineer and local leader Bhim Parajuli Radip informed that time will be saved and scenic journeys will be enjoyed when this road comes into operation.
Suk Bahadur Tamang, who drives a bolero on that road every day, said that 50 to 100 pilgrims and tourists reach every day through Bahrvise. He said that he used to bring Tirthalu to Kalinchok by this road every day. He informed that a large number of tourists used this road during the New Year.
