KATHMANDU: Harka Sampang, the mayor of Dharan, has made a solo demonstration of the system of directly elected executives in Kathmandu.
Prior to the 2084 elections, he staged a solitary rally on the streets of Kathmandu, seeking the establishment of directly elected executives.
Upon Sampang’s arrival in Kathmandu on Tuesday morning, he took a lone stand on the roadside, engaging in his demonstration.
A banner bearing the message “Implement the system of directly elected chief executive by the people before 2084” was displayed on his Facebook page.
