KATHMANDU: The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal has handed over 15 million rupees in aid for the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of those affected by the Bhote Koshi floods in Rasuwa.
Country Representative of WWF Nepal, Dr Ghanshyam Gurung, handed over the aid amount to Minister for Agriculture, Forest, and Environment, Gita Chaudhary and also reiterated WWF Nepal’s commitment to its mission.
Dr Gurung stated that the Fund would also support the government’s immediate efforts to restore road and communications access to the flood survivor communities. (RSS)
