Kathmandu – The government has prepared a design for a new one-rupee coin with a Chukche map of Nepal.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the design of the new coin includes a Chukche map along with a picture of Akash Bhairav. The ministry has stated that preparations are being made to implement the design after getting approval from the upcoming cabinet meeting.
The government is preparing to issue new coins with symbols reflecting national identity. After the decision is made by the cabinet, the process of printing and putting the coins into circulation will be taken forward.
