KATHMANDU: Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balendra Sah, urged voters to give his party a decisive mandate to advance the development of Madhes and the country.
Speaking at a “Change Declaration Rally” organized by RSP today, Sah claimed that a RSP victory in the House of Representatives would be a major achievement for the nation.
He emphasized that his party’s government would empower citizens to exercise their rights effectively within their own provinces.
“I am a leader who delivers results. You are already aware of the progress made during my tenure as Kathmandu Metropolitan Chief. If our party is elected to the House of Representatives, I promise to work for Madhesh as well,” Sah said.
Expressing concern over the lack of development in Janakpur, the provincial capital of Madhesh, he said, “This is a historic land, yet its cleanliness and infrastructure are neglected, making it difficult for tourists. Our victory will focus on development and ensure that people no longer have to go to Kathmandu to claim their rights. Our government will strengthen the province to make it more effective and empowered.”
Sah, a resident of Madhes himself, reiterated his commitment to prioritizing the region’s development.
