KATHMANDU: Chinese Vice Minister Sun Haiyan, representing the International Department of the Communist Party of China, has arrived in Kathmandu for a significant four-day official visit.
According to sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Sun will lead a Chinese delegation engaging in meetings with key figures, including President Ram Chandra Paudel, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, and prominent leaders from various political parties.
This visit is anticipated to reinforce the bilateral ties between China and Nepal and foster collaborative discussions on matters of mutual interest.
The diplomatic engagement aims to further solidify the diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
Earlier in the week, Minister Sun led a Chinese delegation that visited the Maldives, showcasing China’s diplomatic outreach in the region.
