KATHMANDU: Three newly appointed ministers took their oaths on Monday.

President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

The ministers sworn in are Rameshwar Khanal as Finance Minister, Kulman Ghising as Minister for Energy, Physical Infrastructure, and Urban Development, and Om Prakash Aryal as Home and Law Minister.

The ceremony was held outside the damaged office building, with temporary arrangements including a canopy. National Assembly Chair Narayan Dahal attended the ministers’ oath-taking ceremony, having skipped the Prime Minister’s swearing-in.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai was also present. Apart from them, no other party leaders attended. Other guests included heads of government agencies and diplomatic missions.
