KATHMANDU: All domestic and international flights from Kathmandu have been temporarily suspended.
According to officials from one of the airlines, the decision to halt flights came after an emergency meeting of airline companies.
The suspension has been imposed due to rising security concerns as the Gen Z protests intensify across the country, with particularly violent demonstrations reported in the Kathmandu Valley.
Security measures at Tribhuvan International Airport have been heightened, and travelers are advised to postpone their travel plans until further notice.
