The Indian government has donated 15 electric vehicles (EVs) as support for the Sagarmatha Sambaad to be organized by the government of Nepal from May 16 to 18.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava handed over the vehicles to Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba at a function organized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. The vehicles were provided under the Nepal-India Cooperation Program.

Taking to social media platform X after receiving the vehicles, Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana expressed her gratitude to Indian government for donating 15 vehicles to Nepal.

“We express our profound appreciation to the Government of India for the generous provision of 15 electric vehicles in support of the forthcoming Sagarmatha Sambaad, scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 May 2025,” Minister Rana mentioned on X.

Rana, in the X, further emphasized that this contribution demonstrates a shared commitment to both environmental sustainability and regional collaboration.
