Kathmandu. CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has warned that those who try to erase the People’s War will be reduced to ashes.

Addressing a program organized by the party on the occasion of the 30th People’s War Day at the party central office on Thursday, he gave this warning.

Prachanda claimed that this process, irrigated by the sacrifice and blood of thousands of martyrs and the sacrifice and penance of thousands of missing warriors, will continue for hundreds of years in the overall process of Nepal. He said that those who dare to erase the People’s War by saying that no one can erase it will be reduced to ashes. He said that People’s War Day is a national day for all oppressed communities of the people.

Chairman Prachanda said, ‘People’s War Day is truly a national day for all oppressed communities of the people. We should take it forward as a national day. There have been many attempts to distort the word People’s War. It will not be erased by anyone. I believe that whoever dares to erase it will be reduced to ashes.’

He said that it is necessary to further strengthen the achievements and move forward on the path of socialism. Prachanda alleged that reactionary forces are carrying out various activities to prevent the republic from becoming a people’s republic.
