KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli extended his congratulations to the Janakpur Bolts for clinching the NPL cricket championship.
On Saturday, Janakpur Bolts defeated Sudurpaschim Royals by 5 wickets in the final match held at the TU Cricket Ground to claim the prestigious title.
“Congratulations, Janakpur Bolts, on winning the NPL title. Sudurpaschim Royals also displayed commendable performance in today’s game. With this, the grand festival of Nepali cricket concludes,” Oli wrote on his social media platform, Facebook.
He also expressed his gratitude to all participating teams, organizers, and management staff of the tournament.
