AUSTRALIA/Kedar Rayamajhi, editor and publisher of Bachan News, will be honored with the Living for Others Award on Saturday.
The Universal Peace Federation will honor Rayamajhi for his positive impact on society and taking the culture of living for others to new heights.
Rayamajhi, who has been inspiring society by conducting counseling, relief, and various social services through the Global Gospel Ministry, has made a journey from Nepal to Australia an example of selfless service. Even after coming to Australia in 2018, he has been able to build a bridge of empathy between the Nepali community and other communities.
He has contributed to Nepali journalism as the editor and publisher of Bachan News and has also played an important role in religious service as the chief pastor of Gospel Nepali Church in Sydney.
‘Kedar Rayamajhi has taken the culture of living for others to new heights. His contribution has had a positive impact on society. It is a matter of pride for us to be able to honor a dedicated person like him,” said a representative of the organizing organization.
It is believed that this honor to be bestowed on Rayamajhi will further energize the importance of social service and commitment to it within the Nepali community. The ideology of ‘living for others’ is expected to make society aware of moral responsibility and encourage service spirit.
