KATHMANDU: The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the Nepali team to play in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup. CAN announced the 15-member team under the captaincy of Hemant Dhami on Sunday morning.
The team includes Arjun Kumal, Akash Tripathi, Uttam Thapa Magar, Mayan Yadav, Naren Saud, Younis Vikrak Singh Thakuri, Naren Bhatt, Santosh Yadav, Yuvraj Khatri, Roshan Bishwakarma, Bipin Kumar Mahato, Prajit Poudel, Abhishek Tiwari, and Ranjit Kumar.
The team’s head coach is Shakti Gauchan, and the assistant coach is Dhirendra Chand. The U-19 Asia Cup will be held in the UAE from November 29 to December 8. Nepal will play the first match against Sri Lanka on November 29, the second match against Bangladesh on December 1, and the last match of the group against Afghanistan on December 3.
