SINDHUPALCHWOK- Future of Hope Nepal has distributed warm clothes (fiber silk Vinegar) to 15 families of Kune Gaon of Jugal rural municipality ward number 1 and jackets for 22 children.
On Wednesday, the organization distributed fiber, silk, and jackets for children to the families affected by the floods that occurred on October 11 and 12.
It was made possible by the joint initiative of journalists Chitra Kumar Mijar, Niroj Tolange, and Kantipur Daily District Correspondent Anish Tiwari in distributing relief to the flood victims.
Social activist Anila Thapa, founding president of Future of Hope Nepal, and Kavi Thapa, director of disaster management of the organization, journalist Chitra Kumar Mijar, Niroj Tolange, and Kantipur Daily District Correspondent Anish Tiwari distributed fiber silk Vinegar, and jackets to the flood victims.
Chandra Bishunke, a local leader and landslide victim, while thanking the supporting organization, said that the organization has done a commendable job by distributing warm clothes to the flood victims in winter.
Social worker Kavi Thapa, director of disaster management of the organization, said that he was able to share happiness on the faces of the landslide victims. He said that they are very happy to put a bandage on the pain caused by the natural calamity.
Paure Sarki said that he was very happy and relieved after receiving the warm clothes provided to avoid the cold. He said, “I didn’t have any clothes to wear in the cold; today I got it, and it will be warm; I am happy.”
A landslide completely destroyed 3 houses in Kune village of Jugal Rural Municipality. It is reported that 4 people died in the landslide, 2 people are still missing, and 10 families have been displaced.
