Current govt formed for good governance and prosperity, says Minister Bhattarai

KASKI: Minister for Education, Science, and Technology, Bidhya Bhattarai, has stated that the current government was formed to ensure good governance and achieve prosperity in the country.

Inaugurating the fifth annual general assembly of the Pokhara Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, Minister Bhattarai noted that the two major political parties formed the current government to instill hope among citizens.

She emphasized that education ensuring employment opportunities within the country is crucial and that collaborative efforts are needed to reduce the exodus of the youth population to foreign countries.

Minister Bhattarai also shared that efforts are ongoing to start flights from Pokhara International Airport, which will significantly boost tourism development in Pokhara.

Speaking at the event, House of Representatives (HoR) member Damodar Bairagi highlighted the importance of industrialists focusing on productive areas along with their institutional rights and welfare.
