Fatal Accident in Pokhara: One Dead, Two Injured as Pickup Van Veers Off Road

Tragedy struck in Chisakhola, Pokhara Metropolitan City, as a pickup van en route from Methlang to Baglung veered off the road, resulting in one fatality and injuring two others.

According to Kaski police, the incident occurred when the pickup van lost control, skidding off the road and plummeting approximately 20 feet. The 49-year-old driver, a resident of Gyarjati in Pokhara Metropolitan City-18, succumbed to injuries during treatment.

Two passengers, aged 69 and 70, both women, are currently receiving medical attention at Manipal Hospital.

The exact cause of the accident is under investigation, and local authorities are working to ensure the well-being of the injured and gather more details about the unfortunate incident.
