In a showdown at Kirtipur, Gandaki Province secured a three-wicket victory over Bagmati in the Prime Minister Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament. Despite a solid start from Bagmati’s openers, Kamal Pariyar’s bowling prowess limited them to 198 runs. In response, Karan Pangeni’s stellar knock of 79 led Gandaki to chase the target in 49.3 overs.

Meanwhile, Armed Police Force Club faced a setback, losing to Tribhuvan Army Club by four wickets. APF’s slump continued as they were bowled out for 121, with Rohit Paudel’s half-century being the sole highlight. Army, despite a shaky start, clinched victory with Binod Bhandari’s unbeaten 34.

In another match, Koshi’s winless streak persisted as they fell to Karnali by six wickets. Sujan Thapaliya’s half-century wasn’t enough for Koshi as Dinesh Adhikari’s brilliant bowling (4-18) paved the way for Karnali’s successful chase.

As the tournament unfolds, the top two teams qualify for the final, adding an extra layer of competition and excitement.
