KATHMANDU: The government has recommended ambassadors for eight countries.
The decision, based on the political considerations of the leaders of the ruling coalition, was formally’made’ during the Cabinet meeting held on Friday.
Former Chief Secretary Lokdarshan Regmi has been recommended as the ambassador to India.
Regmi previously served as the ambassador to the United Kingdom.
Other ambassadorial recommendations include Chandra Ghimire for the United States, Sushil Pyakurel for South Korea, Sumnima Tuladhar for Denmark, Dr. Bijan Panta for the United Kingdom, Pushparaj Ranjitkar for Spain, Netra Prasad Timalsina for Malaysia, and Abu Sufiyan Khan Muslim for Saudi Arabia.
