Relief distribution to 12 fire victims of Duhavi and Itahari

Sunsari, 7th June: Relief has been distributed to 11 households in Sunsari’s Duhavi Municipality Ward No. 9 Chhatabeli.

Minister of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens Bhagbati Chaudhary, in the presence of Ministry Secretary Dinesh Bhattarai, visited the house of the fire victims and handed over the relief amount.

Similarly, relief materials were distributed by going to the house of fire victim Indra Kumar Khadka, a resident of Sisauna village in Itahari Municipality, Ward No. 7, Ramjan.

The relief was handed over in coordination with the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, the Social Welfare Council, the Health Nutrition Education and Agricultural Research Development Center, the Dinesh Chaudhary Memorial Foundation, and Latter-day Saint Charities.

Distribution of 25 kg rice, 5 kg dal, 3 kg salt, 2 sets of blankets, 1 set of stand fans, 1 set of stationery, 1 set of paper, 1 bundle of zinc plates, 1 set of dignity kit, 1 set of Jhul, kitchen utensils, and a dasna set per family.

Likewise, Minister Chaudhary reached the house of fire victim Indra Kumar Khadka, a resident of Sisauna village of Itahari Municipality, Ward No. 7, Ramjanaki, and handed over the relief materials. 12 cement pillars, 10 sacks of cement, 3 tractors of sand/ gravel, and other materials have been given as support to Khadka’s family. Deepak Ghimire, ward member of Itahari 7, organized the support.

Khadka’s house caught fire due to an electrical short when there was no one in the house on 21st Baisakh, causing damage worth around 11 lakh rupees.
