UML’s quits government

KATHMANDU- The CPN-UML has decided to leave the government. This decision was made at today’s UML secretariat meeting.

Similarly, UML has withdrawn its support for the government.

The meeting will discuss the presidential election and the latest political developments, according to Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, Secretary of the Central Office.

While nominating the presidential candidate, UML leaders stated that they would not leave the government until the presidential election, but on Sunday, the UML decided to leave the government after Foreign Minister Bimala Paudyal was denied to travel Geneva
