Kathmandu – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested not to apply for a tourist or visit visa when going to Thailand and Myanmar for employment.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested Nepalis who went to Thailand and Myanmar for lucrative jobs in the information technology sector to not go there without a work permit saying that they have become hostages.

The Ministry has issued a travel advisory and has also asked to contact the relevant government offices and missions abroad to find out about the employer company before going abroad for employment.

It is said that there is also difficulty in rescuing the Nepalese trapped there. Lately, Nepalis who go to these countries are asking for rescue saying that they are in trouble.
