State Heads & Chief Ministers have luxurious residences (photos)

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ handed over the residence built for the state chief and chief minister at Bhainsepati in Lalitpur on Sunday.

These buildings were finished at a cost of roughly Rs 85 crore, according to project chief Machakaji Maharjan. When the government home is completed, the state heads and chief ministers will stay in this building when they visit Kathmandu. There is a building for each state, as well as separate blocks for the state head and the chief minister

While handing over the building, Prime Minister Prachanda stated that the relationship between the state and the federal government will be strengthened.

The Chief Minister and the Head of State may also have their liaison office in this building.

The government has currently rented apartments for state heads and chief ministers to reside in when they visit Kathmandu.
