Q&A session with PM to be held on Aug 29

KATHMANDU: A direct question and answer program with the Prime Minister in the House of Representatives will be held on Bhadra 12.
Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire notified the House of Representatives on Thursday that the direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister will be held on the Bhadra 12 (Aug 29).
He stated that MPs from Group 2 will be able to ask questions during the question-and-answer session this time. He also ordered that questions for the Prime Minister be submitted in writing to the House Secretary by 3 p.m. on Friday, Bhadra 8 (Aug 25).
He said, – ‘I would like to inform you that the direct question-and-answer program with the Prime Minister according to paragraph 9 of the House of Representatives Rules 2079 will be held at the meeting on Bhadra 12, 2080 (29 Aug 2023).
Also, I would like to inform you that groups have already been divided for the direct question and answer program with the Prime Minister and the honourable members in Group 2 can submit their questions in writing to the Secretary of the House of Representatives by 3:00 p.m. .’
Likewise, the speaker also informed that the time for the election of committee chairpersons has been fixed on Bhadra 11 (Aug 28) at 3 p.m.
The next meeting of the House of Representatives has been called for Tuesday, Bhadra 12 (Aug 29) at 11 a.m.
