President Poudel resigns as HoR member
President Poudel wrote a letter to the Speaker informing him that the political position of a member of the House of Representatives would be automatically vacated.
KATHMANDU- President Ram Chandra Poudel resigned as a member of the House of Representatives after being elected President. He was elected President on March 9.
According to Article 626 of the Nepalese Constitution, President Poudel wrote a letter to the Speaker informing him that the political position of a member of the House of Representatives would be automatically vacated.
He also thanked the Speaker, the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Tanahun Constituency No. 1 voters, district residents, and well-wishers for their support and assistance so far.
