President of all 10 Committees of Parliament took oath (with photos)

KATHMANDU: All ten House of Representatives (Parliament) committee chairs have taken the oath of office and confidentiality.

The chairman of all ten committees were chosen unopposed on Monday.
Santosh Chalise of the Nepali Congress as the President of of the Finance Committee, Rajkishor Yadav of the Janata Samajwadi as the President of the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Bimala Subedi of CPN (Maoist Centre) as the President of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, Arzu Rana Deuba of the Congress as the President of the Agriculture Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Kiran Kumar Sah as the President of the Committee on Women and Social Affairs and Ramhari Khatiwada has been elected as the State Order and Good Governance Committee.
Similarly, Deepak Bahadur Singh of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party elected as the President of the Infrastructure Development Committee, Bhanubhakta Joshi of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party elected as the President of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee and Rishikesh Pokharel of the CPN UML elected as the President of the Public Accounts Committee.
9 months after the election of the House of Representatives, the committee finally got a President.
