Officer appointed for Presidential election, voting in Baneshwor
The Commission has decided to hold the election at the New Baneshwor International Convention Center.

KATHMANDU- The Election Commission has decided the election officer and polling place for the presidential election.
The commission has appointed election officers with effect from tomorrow.
Patan High Court Judge Mahesh Sharma Paudel has been named the Election Officer for the presidential election, according to the Election Commission’s Assistant Spokesperson Rishi Ram Bhusal.
The Commission has decided to hold the election at the New Baneshwor International Convention Center. There will be two polling places available.
According to the election schedule, the electoral roll will be published on the 10th of next Wednesday after the election officer’s office is established.
According to Assistant Spokesperson Bhusal, the list of voters eligible to vote in the presidential election has been received from the federal parliament and the State Assembly secretariats of all the seven states.
Voting for the election of the President will be held on the 25th. Nominations will be registered for voting on the 13th.
In the election of the President, there is a legal provision that the members of both houses of parliament, the National Assembly and the House of Representatives, and the members of the State Assemblies of all the seven states are voters.
The vote weight of the members of the parliamentary parliament will be 79 and the vote weight of the State Assembly members will be 48.
