KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has been bereaved of his father.
Minister’s father Harka Bahadur Rai passed away this morning while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, according to the Minister’s Secretariat. He was 76.
He had been unwell for long and was under the medical care.
As the Secretariat said, the mortal remains of the Minister’s father will be taken to his ancestral home at Okhre village in Bhojpur, the district in Koshi Province, today itself to perform last rites.
