KATHMANDU:<\/strong> Nepal has strongly condemned Israel\u2019s attack on UN peacekeepers in Lebanon.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) stated that Israeli forces breached the main gate of the peacekeepers\u2019 base and opened fire.<\/p>\n

As a result, 15 peacekeepers experienced skin irritation and stomach issues due to smoke exposure.<\/p>\n

In response to this incident, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal issued a statement condemning the attack on behalf of the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cNepal strongly condemns the recent attack on UNIFIL peacekeepers,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe urge both parties to the conflict to ensure the safety of the peacekeepers. It is essential to halt such activities immediately and conduct a thorough investigation into the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n
