{"id":1922,"date":"2024-08-07T15:25:44","date_gmt":"2024-08-07T15:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalinewshub.com\/?p=1922"},"modified":"2024-08-07T15:27:12","modified_gmt":"2024-08-07T15:27:12","slug":"pm-expressed-grief-over-the-chopper-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalinewshub.com\/?p=1922","title":{"rendered":"PM expressed grief over the chopper crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"the-content uk-text-justify\">\n<p><strong>KATHMANDU:<\/strong> Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed grief over the accident of Air Dynasty\u2019s helicopter in Nuwakot today.<\/p>\n<p>PM Oli, who was in a pre-arranged meeting with officials of the Valley Mayors\u2019 Forum at Singha Durbar, cut short the meeting with the mayors after hearing the news of the helicopter accident.<\/p>\n<p>It is sad that another air accident happened after 14 days, said PM Oli.<\/p>\n<p>The accident involved an Air Dynasty helicopter, registered as 9N-AJD, which was en route from Kathmandu to Syaprubesi in Rasuwa.<\/p>\n<p>The helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM but lost contact with air traffic control just three minutes later. The crash is believed to have occurred around 2:20 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The victims have been identified as Judad Tang, Ji Li, Yiad Wu, and Zeming Si, all Chinese nationals, along with Captain Arun Malla, the Nepali pilot.<\/p>\n<p>Chief District Officer Ramkrishna Adhikari confirmed that the remains will be sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, for autopsy.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, a Saurya Airlines plane crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), killing 18 out of 19 passengers on board.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed grief over the accident of Air Dynasty\u2019s helicopter in Nuwakot today.
