{"id":1360,"date":"2024-06-08T15:47:21","date_gmt":"2024-06-08T15:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalinewshub.com\/?p=1360"},"modified":"2024-06-08T15:47:21","modified_gmt":"2024-06-08T15:47:21","slug":"pm-dahal-to-fly-to-delhi-at-125-pm-on-sunday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalinewshub.com\/?p=1360","title":{"rendered":"PM Dahal to fly to Delhi at 1:25 PM on Sunday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KATHMANDU:<\/strong> Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to fly to Delhi at 1:25 PM on Sunday afternoon via a Nepal Airlines flight.<\/p>\n<p>PM Dahal is set to visit India to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, PM Dahal is embarking on this official visit at the cordial invitation of Indian PM Modi.<\/p>\n<p>The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for June 9 in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>PM Dahal will be accompanied by his daughter Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, and other high-ranking government officials. He is expected to return to Nepal on June 10.<\/p>\n<p>An official at the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi informed that PM Dahal will hold a brief meeting with his Indian counterpart on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>PM Dahal\u2019s last official visit to India was a year ago. Last Wednesday, PM Dahal had a telephonic conversation with PM Modi following Modi\u2019s victory in the recent Lok Sabha election.<\/p>\n<p>During the conversation, they discussed mutual cooperation and common interests.<\/p>\n<p>PM Dahal expressed his readiness to strengthen relations between Nepal and India, while PM Modi thanked Dahal for his warm congratulations.<\/p>\n<p>The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), led by PM Modi, secured 293 seats in the Lok Sabha election held in seven phases, with Modi\u2019s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) winning 240 seats.<\/p>\n<p>With the support of the NDA, BJP leader Modi is scheduled to take the oath of office for a third consecutive term on Sunday afternoon, according to Indian media.<\/p>\n<p>Indian President Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath of office to PM Modi during a special function at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>Heads of state and government from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Mauritius have also been invited by the Indian government to attend the swearing-in ceremony.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to fly to Delhi at 1:25 PM on Sunday afternoon via a Nepal Airlines flight.
