
KATHMANDU- This spring, more than 400 climbers have taken permission to climb Mount Everest this spring.
According to the Department of Tourism, 463 climbers from 42 climbing groups have taken permission for authorization to climb Mount Everest.
According to Bigyan Koirala, Branch Officer of Mountaineering Branch, two to three Nepalese and some foreigners are now in the process of obtaining authorization to climb Mount Everest.
The government predicts that approximately 470 climbers will be issued permits in the spring of this year.
The climbers who have obtained permission are currently waiting to ascend to Everest’s base camp and second camp.
The icefall doctor has made the way to the fourth camp of Everest. The ascent begins after the rope is hung from the summit of Everest.
The government has collected revenue of Rs 73 crore 74 lakh only from Everest climbing permit.
