KATHMANDU- During today’s House of Representatives meeting, lawmakers brought the government’s attention to the creation of vital laws such as the Federal Education Act and the Federal Personnel Act.
Speaking during a special session of the House of Representatives today, parliamentarians demanded that the law be introduced promptly as Tharu could not be effectively represented in the federal parliament.
Similarly, lawmakers called the attention of the government through the speaker to the resolution of issues made in the House of Representatives meeting.
He stated that banks and financial institutions have caused borrowers to suffer by charging borrowers arbitrary interest, adding damages if installments are missed, and causing them troubles, and that they should be penalized in accordance with the law.
During the meeting, parliamentarians urged the government to pay special attention to the House in order to make the government’s job more effective.
MPs Ramnath Adhikari, Bidya Bhattarai, Tejulal Chaudhary, Ishwari Gharti, Ain Bahadur Shahi, Basudev Ghimire, Shanti Chaudhary, and others spoke out at the meeting.
