Delegation that will accompany PM Dahal to US finalized

KATHMANDU: The delegation that will accompany Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to the United Nations General Assembly has been finalized.
The Nepalese delegation, led by Prime Minister Prachanda, will depart for the 78th United Nations General Assembly, which will be convened at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on Bhadra 30 (Sept 16).
Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saund announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to the United States from Bhadra 30 (SSept 16) to Ashoj.
Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud, Prime Minister’s Chief Political Adviser Haribol Gajurel, Prime Minister Prachanda’s Personal Secretary Ganga Dahal, National Security Adviser Shankardas Bairagi, Chief Secretary Baikunth Aryal, Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Paudyal are on the visit.
Likewise, Foreign Minister Saund informed that the delegation including high-ranking officials of the Government of Nepal will include the Ambassador of Nepal to the United States, the Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations, officials from the Consulate General in New York, and media representatives from Nepal.
Prime Minister Prachanda will address the 78th high-level discussion of the United Nations General Assembly on Ashoj 4 (Sept 21) on behalf of Nepal.
Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to visit China on Ashoj 4 (Sept 21).
