Class 12 grade enhancement exam to be held on Sept 23 & 24
According to the board, 123,396 people who have obtained non-grade up to two subjects will be eligible to participate in the grade enhancement examination.

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board is going to conduct the grade enhancement examination (supplementary examination) on Ashoj 6 and 7 (Sept 23 & 24) for the students who get non-grade (NG) in the class 12 examination.
According to the board, 123,396 people who have obtained non-grade up to two subjects will be eligible to participate in the grade enhancement examination. 79,584 people came for NG in one subject only.
In the class 12 exam, the most non-graders were in English. 109,527 people have been ungraded in this subject. In class 12, it is arranged that only 35% marks in all subjects will be graded or passed.
If dissatisfied with the results, the board stated that one can have them re-used for a fee of 500 rupees per topic within 15 days. Exam controller Aryal notified students who were dissatisfied with the results that they could consult the answer book and request a re-examination.
When re-testing, the examination will be conducted by three different examiners than the prior examiner, and the average of the three examiners’ scores will be used.
If the achieved score is 10% less or greater than the prior score, the old score will be kept. If the difference is greater than or less than 10%, the new grades will be kept.
