Baluwatar land case: Two more arrests, number of arrests reached 22
The Nepal Police Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has apprehended two imposters from Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU: Two additional persons have been detained in connection with the case of buying government land in Baluwatar and selling it to individuals.
The Nepal Police Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has apprehended two imposters from Lalitpur.
Sanjay Maharjan and Sakulananda Maharjan of Kupandol were detained. With this arrest, the total number of persons detained in the case has risen to 22.
Only Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut is not in detention. The court has detained 21 persons, who are being probed by the police.
Minbahadur Gurung, Dharma Prasad Gautam, Sudhir Kumar Shah, Gopal Karki, Shivaji Bhattarai, Ghaman Kumar Karki, Baburaja Maharjan, Ramesh Kumar Pokharel, Dev Narayan Maharjan, Lokhari Ghimire, Dhurva Prasad Aryal, Narayan Raj Mishra, Yograj Paudel, Rudra Kumar Shrestha, Bal Krishna Shrestha, Binod Prasad Paudel, Keshav Tuladhar, Arun Kumar Shrestha and Sipika Khetan are also in custody.
The CIB said that they are being detained and investigated for organized crime.
