KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that he has launched a campaign against corruption, smuggling and corruption.
He remarked this during the opening ceremony of the Samajwadi Vidyarthi Manch (stage). He also stated that this campaign will not be abandoned.
“Just as the government has launched an anti-corruption and anti-corruption campaign,” he said, “a campaign has been launched against exploitation of property by individuals.” Jihad has been waged against smuggling’, he said, ‘this step is not going to stop. Still, further, this step must win this battle for prosperity. This is not a matter of impulse and a political stunt. It was done for the benefit of the Nepalese people.’
He said that other files of such malfeasance and corruption will also be opened.
“We need the support of the government Samajwadi Morcha in this aspect,” he said, “You will see that other files will be opened.” That’s when we need your support. It is not a battle to be won by the Prime Minister and the government alone, we will win this battle with the support of the people.’
