Kathmandu- Nepali Congress has finalized the active members of all districts. With the publication of the list of active members of Rautahat, the active members of all 77 districts of the Congress have been decided.
While the list of active members of other districts was published, the list of Rautahat and Rasuwa could not be made public. Only four days ago, the list of active members of Rasuwa was made public. Rautahat has become the latest district to publish the list of active membership.
District leaders of Rautahat are sitting on dharna at the central office due to the dispute of active membership. Despite the publication of the list on Wednesday, the protestors continued their protest. There is a dispute in Rautahat over the list of active membership.
Due to the fact that the active membership was not decided, the election committee was not able to publicize the agenda of the session of Rasuwa and Rautahat. The election committee said that the ward level session of those two districts will be held on October 27.
The election committee has already announced the agenda that the ward meeting will be held on October 27 in Dolpa, Banke, Kailali, Surkhet, Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Bara and Parsa along with the remaining wards in Sindhupalchowk.
The ward and municipal assembly of 64 districts was over before Tihar. Besides, convention representatives have also been elected from 13 districts. The 14th convention of the Congress has been scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from November 24 to 26.
