Kathmandu – Local level elections were held simultaneously across the country today.
The period from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm set by the Election Commission for voting has ended. But the commission said that voters who reached the polling station during that period were allowed to cast their votes.
According to the Election Commission, some polling centers in the country have been postponed due to disputes and efforts to conduct voting in some places are continuing.
As soon as the voting is over, the ballot box will be brought from the polling station to the Chief Electoral Officer’s office, the commission said. The commission is preparing to start counting votes in many places today. An all-party meeting will be held before the counting of votes begins.
