Kathmandu- Chairman of the CPN Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has also expressed that he expects Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba not to put unnecessary pressure on him regarding the MCC because of the American aid project MCC.
In an interview with News Agency Nepal, he claimed that the alliance will not be broken because of MCC. He said, “Just yesterday I spoke with the Prime Minister. There was talk of holding a meeting of intelligent citizens about the MCC. The Prime Minister has also understood this matter and does not think that there will be unnecessary pressure.
Deuba is in favor of passing the US grant aid MCC, while Chairman of the Maoist Center Prachanda is of the opinion that it should be amended and move forward.
