6 Chaitra, Bhairahawa- The winner of Nepal Idol Season 4 is Bhupendra Thapa from Bhairahawa.
Bhupendra, who reached the top 5 in Nepal Aadal singing talent 4th edition from AP One Television, became the winner by getting the most votes. He had 5 competitors.
In the grand finale held last Saturday evening, Thapa won the title as the best of the fourth edition. Thapa has been awarded with Rs 30 lakh cash and trophy from various sponsors.
After Thapa was in the top five, he reached Bhairahawa last week to appeal the vote. He studied at Sunshine School in Bhairahawa and was able to get the degree with the support of the school and the locals.
Similarly, the first runner-up is Namgel Tamang from Jhapa, the second runner-up is Ranchit Nepal from Ramechhap. Vishwas Upreti of Jhapa and Lakshmi Paudel of Morang were fourth and fifth respectively.
