Kathmandu- Press Council Nepal has instructed to clarify the method and basis of the election survey and to keep a balanced presentation of all the candidates.
The Press Council has also instructed to write the news by including the statements of both sides. A meeting of the Unguman Suggestion Committee was held in the council on Tuesday.
A participant informed that in the meeting chaired by the chairman of the council Balkrishna Basnet and the former chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists, there was a wide discussion on whether or not to conduct a vote survey, whether or not there should be a sufficient and reliable basis and reasons for such a survey.
