The Election Commission’s warning to remove from the proportional closed list if the fine is not paid by 5th October

Kathmandu- The Election Commission has given the last time until October 5th to the candidates who have not submitted their expenses details in the local level elections held last Baisakh and who are on the proportional list in the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly.

The commission issued a notice and warned that the candidature will be canceled if it is not submitted by 5th of October. The Election Commission has made it clear that those who have not submitted their expenses details after running for the local level elections cannot be proportional candidates in the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections.

“The Commission has decided to maintain that the fines paid within office hours on 5th November 2079 have been recovered and to do so in accordance with the law and to remove the names of the candidates who do not pay the amount of the fines from the closed list for the proportional election system of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Assembly,” said a statement issued by the Commission.
